A huge THANKS to everyone that gave to the wonderful cause and donating their time
I was a little choked up when the whistle blew for the start of the walk/run! Very powerful to see all the folk and the kids! I think that Steve Kay's "Last 100K of Terry's Journey" was very polarizing for Clarington! A very moving morning! 💓
Tomorrow morning! Come out and join us!Some people think Canada is defined by hockey, or Timmy's, or our tendency to apologize more than we need to, but they're all wrong. The perseverance and courage shown by Terry Fox is what we look to.
Terry Fox was the personification of the Canadian spirit.
Tomorrow, September 17th, is our annual opportunity to celebrate this great man and help realize his dream of ending cancer.
Come on down to Memorial Park tomorrow AM. Give what you can. Run, walk, or bike what you can. Most importantly, just be there.

One of the most impressive aspects of Bowmanville Rotary Ribs and Brews is the incredible amount of money raised for local and international causes. Over the past 12 years, Ribs and Brews has raised over $1,200,000 for various local and international charitable initiatives.
This support includes organizing and executing community clean-ups, sponsoring the fish ladder in Bowmanville Creek, providing annual support to Matawa First Nations Reserve’s Educational program, offering aid to individuals and families dealing with significant life-altering illnesses such as cancer, epilepsy, diabetes, heart disease, ALS, and supporting research for finding cures for these diseases through associations.
